SomeDarkHollow;
If I remember correctly your home state had some pretty aggressive enforcement of very strict laws against Maryjane.
Pretty ironic considering that your state Arizona like my state of Florida is ideal for year round outdoor growing.
There is a medical herb petition making its way in Florida.
Not sure where that is at.
They ought to consult the New York police department because I know many of those N.Y.C cops hung out at Dunkin Donuts because they had the munchies.

You are correct, and even with the medical marijuana bill passing, we don't have a lot of dispensaries opening either due to local governments putting outrageous restrictions in place or fear of federal law enforcement. I have to admit being stunned when the law was passed, but I knew that implementation was going to be incredibly complicated.

just move closer to the border and they will catapult it into the backyard of your compound

Perhaps the funniest thing about our border fence:

I'm thinking its' more of a trebuchet than a catapult, but that is neither here nor there ("here" being in my compound; I keep telling them to compensate for windage, but do they listen? Noooooooo)

I was getting ready to send the same footage. F-ing
hilarious. What is the next state??? I would go with NY
or ORE. AZ ond OH are under dictation, so I don't see it
happening anytime soon. But it certainly is nice to see the ball (bowl) rolling. Mayne NM? I donno. They need to tighten up on the drunk drivers there before legal weed
methinks

Not only is there the ever present danger of reckless catapult-induced injuries we could see here in AZ, CO could now see a dramatic increase in the number of traffic citations being handed out for driving under the speed limit.

The biggest obstacle to successful legalization is the federal government's continued insistence in classifying pot as a "dangerous drug", which means banks won't accept deposits from marijuana stores in states like CO., even if it's perfectly legal there. So the dispensaries become almost all-cash businesses, making them perfect targets for crime. Right wingers will undoubtedly point to the inevitable rise in crime and law enforcement man hours spent fighting it to say that legalization failed. But the failure will be the holdover from the conservative approach to drugs started under Nixon and his idiotic "war on drugs", right thru Reagan, and up to today.

Here's a pretty good and bleak assessment of the problem:

Excellent point, G.C.

Being a Wells Fargo truck driver could become as hazardous as it was back in the Wild West days (days which have yet to end here in AZ)

That is the big wet fart in white shorts definitely GC.
Im glad its happening, and like you say, 'follow the cash', lm still waiting for the ramifications (people getting jacked while waiting in line even). Then, go from there I guess.
Schedule 1: Maryjane
Schedule 2: Cocaine. Coke is apparently better for you.
Law wise at least...
My favorite quote so far was from CNN. " Did you notice there weren't any children waiting in those lines?"
No fuckin shit Sherlock. I would have laughed at that even
if I wasn't high!
For now, my bong is gonna wage the war on drugs... and its winning

Right on, Craven.
My only optimism stems from the fact that I never thought we'd get even this far in my lifetime when it comes to legalization.
But if the geniuses who make laws in this country could pull their heads out of their collective asses for 5 seconds they'd realize that legalization would bring in billions in tax money that could actually be spent on alleviating a host of ills, too many to mention, create jobs, and free up a hell of a lot of space now taken up by non-violent offenders rotting away in prison.

Its just a matter of time. Which is the only true thing a
human possesses: time.
You're starting the legalization vs the decriminalization debate. Another angle to the garnet. Release all the non-
violent weedies from the $$ making jails? Right.
Don't see that happening anytime soon.
I do agree with what you have said though, there is always
more to it. Unless I murder the states Attorney General,
Ohio aint gonna see what is to come. And again, I am waiting for the repercussions to show.
If my ass only had 2 holes...
